 The SATA
Hot-Swap RAID Case Kit provides high speed and Hot-Swapability at an
unbelievably low price. Now there is an affordable way to store large amounts of
data at ultra fast data transfer rates of up to 300 MB/s. Even better, any SATA drive can
be removed in seconds and shared or replaced with another. The LCD Display
monitors the SATA drive temperature and warns if the drive is not operating
properly before expensive data losses occur.
Inexpensive SATA (Serial ATA) drives can now be used in Hot-Swap Trays and as much storage as
required can be dedicated for backup, DV, AV, database applications, and all other types of storage needs. To add more drives simply buy extra
Hot-Swap trays as needed. The trays are inexpensive and offer the best solution for large storage needs.
The heart of this SATA Hot-Swap System is unique Aluminum Tray technology that allows SATA drives to be inserted or removed while the computer is running and the power is on. The system operates very much like a floppy drive with the exception that the amount of storage is thousands of times larger.
True ATA-6 specification support provides compatibility with all the new larger
SATA drive mechanisms.
These units come complete with Hot-Swap drive trays, just add the SATA hard
drives.
