This 5 bay SATA hard drive enclosure is the cost effective, reliable, hi performance RAID 5 solution! In addition to speed and reliability, the enclosure
design includes a quiet 400W power supply tower and five SATA tray-less drive bays featuring DirectAir
drive cooling technology. The ideal solution for all applications that need
fast, reliable, and easy to manage storage!
- RAID 0 (Striping) — allows the enclosure to performance stripe the drives, to provide maximum throughput to the direct attached PC/Server.
- RAID 1 (Data Mirroring) — allows the enclosure to automatically copy primary hard drive without any CPU
loading.
- RAID 3 (Byte-level data striping with dedicated parity drive) —
good choice ins applications where large files comprise all of the workload.
- RAID 5 (Striping with Parity) — provides the perfect balance between very high performance and data integrity.
- RAID 10 (Mirrored Stripe) — provides 100% data redundancy plus offers increased performance by striping across 2 disks.
- JBOD or Port Multiplier* — allows the direct attached PC/Server to see the drives in the enclosure
as just a bunch of drives.
