• RAID 3 (Byte-level data striping with dedicated parity drive) — good choice in applications where large files comprise all of the workload.
• RAID 5 (Striping with Parity) — provides the perfect balance between very high performance and data integrity.
• RAID 10 (Mirrored Stripe) — provides 100% data redundancy plus offers increased performance by striping across 2 disks.
• JBOD or Port Multiplier* — allows the direct attached PC/Server to see the drives in the enclosure as just a bunch of drives.
