The SR-HDPro 8 drive enclosure and SATA PCI Express controller
provide superb performance and are compatible with Mac Pro, recent Power Mac
G5s as well as Windows and Linux PCI Express equipped computers!

Need even more speed? If you have two open x4 compatible PCI Express
slots, you can combine two of the cards and enclosures! Using the
two cards and two enclosures populated with 16 hard drives provides sustained
throughput of up to 800MB/s in RAID 5 and up to 1000MB/s in RAID 0 with a
maximum capacity of 16TB!
 Enclosure
houses 8 high performance SATA II 3Gb/s, 16MB cache hard drives and connects to
the included PCI Express SATA controller via two high-quality 6 foot long
locking Multilane /mini SAS cables (also included). Thanks to the funnel
air intake design and the huge 120mm exhaust fan, the enclosure moves a
tremendous amount of air across the drives keeping them cool, but is very quiet.
If there is ever a need to replace a hard drive it's quick and easy! Simply unlock the
slot mechanism and slide the hard drive out, there are no drive trays! Slide in
the new drive (automatically lines up correctly) and lock the slot
mechanism. Done!
